Who We Are
Fuzzy Logic Dog is owned and operated by Greta Kaplan, AB, MA, JD, CDBC. She is a fully certified member of the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants. "Certified members are required to demonstrate competency in six core areas, including assessment and intervention strategies, consulting skills, knowledge of animal behavior, and species specific knowledge." Fuzzy Logic Dog focuses on aggressive behaviors in dogs, as well as fearfulness, arousal, manners training, anxiety, and many other issues.
As a Certified Dog Behavior Consultant, Greta maintains her credentials and constantly updates her knowledge base through continuing education in animal behavior and training. Fuzzy Logic Dog follows the “LIMA” training philosophy, a commitment to choose the “Least Invasive, Minimally Aversive” techniques and methods effective for each client.
Greta brings over sixteen years of coaching, counseling and hands-on training experience to each appointment. Her substantial continuing education with top animal behavior and training professionals allows her to present, use, and teach you to use clear, effective techniques to help your pet be the best pet she can be. She was a regular instructor at Call of the Wild dog activity camp (Yachts, Oregon), has presented for many veterinarians, training clubs and breed clubs, and has been published in the Association of Professional Dog Trainers Chronicle of the Dog.
Greta lives in Oregon City with her three dogs. She has coached and competed in flyball, and participated in several other dog sports with her dogs. Currently, she is continuing her journey of learning herding with Jad, a working Border Collie.
